The name of the Andaman Islands is ancient. A theory that became prevalent in the late 19th century is that it derives from Andoman, a form of Hanuman, the Sanskrit name of the Indian God.[2][3] Another Italian traveller, Niccolò de’ Conti (c. 1440), mentioned the islands and said that the name means “Island of Gold”.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing or via mail and cancellation charges would be as follows:
CANCELLATION CHARGES:
1)Any time after booking but before 60 days of departure date – Rs. 2000/- per person excluding air/train tickets.
2)Between 60 days to 45 days prior to departure date: 30 % of the total Tour / service cost excluding air/railway ticket cost.
3)Between 44 days & 30 prior to departure date: 50 % of the total Tour / service cost excluding air ticket/rail ticket cost.
4)Between 20 days to date of departure – 100 % cancellation charge of the total Tour excluding air/rail ticket cost.
