As per the latest update, please note that with effect from 02nd November 2015, Biometric (fingerprints & digital photo) has become a mandatory requirement for All Schengen Country Visas. Which means that all travelers applying for a Schengen visa will now have to come personally to the respective Embassy/VFS center for biometric and application submission.
This biometric data will be valid for 5 years and the travelers, who have already given their biometric once, will not need to come personally for biometric/submission for next 5 years.
Following travelers are exempted from biometric
• Children under 12 years of age
• Persons for whom the collection of fingerprints is physically impossible
• Sovereigns and other senior members of a royal family, Heads of State and members of the national Governments (with their official delegations and spouses) if they travel for official purposes.
As per All the Schengen consulates in Mumbai , henceforth no handwritten passport will be accepted for visa submission.
Business Visa :
1)Original passport valid at least for 06 months from the date of return,
2)02 Colour photo as per specification 35mm x 45mm white background 80% face should be seen with dark colour cloth and the photograph should be on good quality paper (Scanned photo
will not do, Passenger should give clicked photograph only),
3)Swiss schengen visa application form duly filled and signed by the pax, visa form as per below,
Original Covering letter from company on company’s letter head addressing to The Swiss Embassy New Delhi with seal and sign,
4)Invitation letter from Switzerland on company’s letter head addressing to The Swiss Embassy New Delhi.),
5)Ticket as per invitation letter,
6)Overseas medical policy as per ticket,
7)Original Personal updated Bank statement for last 6 months with bank name and applicant name with bank seal and sign on every pages and page should be A4 size only,
8)If working then Salary Slip For last 03 month with original company seal on every pages,
9)Copy of personal IT returns for last three years,
10)Copy of qualification certificate.
11)If self employed then required Company IT paper last 3 year and Company bank statement last 3 month.
12)If pax is doing his own business then company registration copy required in English language.
Tourist Visa :
1)Original passport valid at least for 06 months from the date of return,
2)02 Colour photo as per specification 35mm x 45mm white background 80% face should be seen with dark colour cloth and the photograph should be on good quality paper, Glossy finished

3)Swiss schengen visa application form duly filled and signed by the pax, visa form as per below,
4)Original Covering letter from applicant addressing to The Swiss Embassy New Delhi with whole travel details (If self employed then it should be on company’s letter head),
5)Original leave letter from company on company’s letter head with seal and sign. (If working),
6)Hotel confirmation as per travel date,
7)Ticket as per hotel confirmation,
8)Overseas medical policy as per ticket.
9)Original Personal updated Bank statement for last 3 months with bank name and applicant name with bank seal and sign on every pages and page should be A4 size only
10)Salary Slip For last 06 month with original company seal on every pages,
11)Copy of personal I.T. returns for last three years
12)If self employed then required Company IT paper last 3 year and Company bank statement last 3 month
13)if pax is doing his own business then company registration copy required in English language.
14)Copy of qualification certificate if travelling first tome to Schengen, Original previous passport if available, For child School bonafide also required.
15)If child under 18 is travelling to Swiss other parents then required NOC letter from mother and father 100rs stamp paper with notary and govt id proof both pax.
Visit Visa :
01. Original passport valid atleast for 06 months from the date of return,

Work Permit Visa :

02. 03 Original Swiss ‘D’ visa application form duly filled and signed by the pax as per passport,

04. Original 03 complementary page with signed by the pax as per passport (Swiss ‘C’ visa application form 05 page called complementary page),
05. 03 Original authorization form,
06. 04 Colour photo as per specification 35mm x 45mm white background 80% face should be seen with dark colour cloth and the photograph should be on good quality paper, Glossy finished, Pined photo should be acceptable by the consulate (Scanned photo will not do, passenger should give clicked photograph only),
07. Original covering letter from company on company letter head requesting for work permit visa with details,
08. Invitation letter from Swiss requesting for work permit visa,
09. Original Personal updated Bank statement for last 6 months with bank name and applicant name with bank seal and sign on every pages and page should be A4 size only,
10. Salary Slip For last 06 month with original company seal on every pages.
Dependent k Permit Visa :
01. Original passport valid atleast for 06 months,
02. 03 Original Swiss ‘D’ visa application form duly filled and signed by the pax as per passport,
03. 03 Original Declaration form with signed by the pax as per passport,

W.E.F : 2nd November 2015, all applicants have to come personal for submission & biometrics at vfs with prior appointment. Pls note we will take the appointment for submission & assist the applicant at vfs.
